Amirah (born 1994) is a Saudi artist known for her experimental practice that bridges between photography and printmaking. Amirah's background in nursing
influences her artistic practices vividly. She worked in the pediatric ICU until 2022 and left the profession after COVID. After that, she started creating bodies of work
that spoke of memory as a form of distorted realities, family bonds based on memories,
and embodied nonspoken experiences. She creates photograms and long exposure pinhole large format
photographs that are constructed mainly from memories and feelings.
